The Affordable Housing Access Platform is a countywide hub designed to make affordable housing opportunities easier to find and navigate for residents in our community.
A New Way to Connect Orange County Residents with Affordable Housing Opportunities
Led by People for Housing OC and built using the GetHelpOC™ technology operated by 2-1-1 Orange County, a key service of Orange County United Way, the platform will bring together up-to-date listings, multilingual access, and eligibility tools in one secure system. This will help residents spend less time searching across multiple websites while giving housing partners a more coordinated way to share opportunities and connect with potential applicants.
Orange County United Way is also supporting this countywide effort by serving as fiscal administrator for the platform’s Digital Infrastructure Fund.
Finding affordable housing in Orange County can be overwhelming. Information may be spread across multiple websites, listings can be difficult to track, and it is not always clear where to start.
The Affordable Housing Access Platform is designed to make this process easier by helping you learn about housing opportunities in one place and better understand which options may fit your household needs.

The Affordable Housing Access Platform is designed to support partners working across Orange County’s housing ecosystem, including cities, developers, property managers, community-based organizations, service providers, and other local partners.
By using a shared technology foundation, the platform can help partners share affordable housing opportunities more consistently, connect housing providers with potential applicants, and improve coordination across participating cities and organizations.

Support for the platform’s Digital Infrastructure Fund will advance the technology build-out and early implementation needed to launch this countywide effort.
The platform builds on GetHelpOC™, an existing trusted technology foundation, allowing philanthropic support to help move a specialized housing access tool forward more quickly and cost effectively. This investment will strengthen how residents, cities, and housing partners connect to available affordable housing opportunities.
Ongoing operations are expected to be sustained through a subscription model with cities, helping support the platform’s long-term sustainability.
