FULLERTON COLLABORATIVE

Location: Fullerton Public Library's Community Room (except for the month of July)

Day/Time: Second Monday of each month at 2:30 p.m. with networking at 2:00 p.m.

Who Should Attend: Representatives from government, private, business, education, nonprofit, and faith based organizations serving Fullerton. Open to the public and community members are invited to attend.

Goal: The Fullerton Collaborative is a cooperative of executive directors, educators, activists, community service leaders and volunteers dedicated to building and supporting a healthy cohesive community. As an alliance of non-profit organizations and individuals who enjoy making "good things" happen for the Fullerton community, we are able to provide community assistance where we are needed most. Our unique partnership allows us to help each other accomplish goals. We encourage our members and the Fullerton Community to "Think Collaboratively." Each month we discuss ways to make a collective impact in the areas of Homelessness, Education, Health & Wellness, and At-Risk Youth for the City of Fullerton.

CASE MANAGER BROWN BAG LUNCH

Location: TBD - Changes monthly

Day/Time: Third Wednesday of each month excluding December, from 12pm-2pm

Who Should Attend: Any case manager or direct service provider that works with homeless and low income.

Goal: To meet other service providers in OC, share and collaborate resources, get support from other professionals and build relationships.

COLLABORATING ORGANIZATIONS ACTIVE IN DISASTER (COAD)

Location: American Red Cross - OC 600 Park Center Dr. Santa Ana, CA 92705

Day/Time: Second Thursday of alternating months: May 11, 2017, July 13, 2017, September 14, 2017, November 9, 2017

Who Should Attend: Members of non-profit, government, and business organizations who want to prepare, respond/recover in the time of a disaster.

Goal: to establish and enhance partnerships among community-based, governmental, and business organizations that will collaborate, communicate and coordinate Preparedness, Response and Recovery efforts for Orange County residents during times of disaster.

ANAHEIM HOMELESS COLLABORATIVE

Location: Anaheim Central Library - 500 West Broadway, Anaheim (in the basement meeting room)

Day/Time: 2nd Wednesday of the month from 12 -1:30pm

Who Should Attend: Service providers that work with Anaheim residents.

Goal: Multi-sector collaborative that addresses homelessness in Anaheim.

COLLABORATION TO ASSIST MOTEL FAMILIES (CAMF)

Location: Downtown Community Center, 250 E. Center Street, Anaheim, CA 92805

Day/Time: 1st Tuesday of the month from 9:30 am to 11:00 am (2nd Tuesday if the 1st Tuesday is a holiday)

Who Should Attend: Service providers and individuals from the City of Anaheim and surrounding cities, school districts, local government, and community based organizations serving individuals and families residing in Orange County motels.

Goal: To help meet the needs of families living in motels by providing services and tools necessary for the families to achieve self-sufficiency.

COUNTY OF ORANGE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

FINANCIAL STABILITY ALLIANCE

Location: Orange County United Way, 18012 Mitchell Avenue South, Irvine, CA 92614

Day/Time: 3rd Thursday of every other month from 1:30pm – 3:00pm.

Who Should Attend: Human service providers offering financial stability and self-sufficiency services.

Goal: To increase the capacity and efficacy of financial stability service providers through collaboration.

HOUSING EDUCATION FORUM

Location: Sisters of St. Joseph Auditorium, 480 S. Batavia Street in Orange 92868

Day/Time: 1st Thursday of every month from 11:30am to 1:00pm

Who Should Attend: Housing developers, health and human service providers, low-income housing advocates, government agencies, businesses, and other interested parties.

Goal: To influence public policy in order to promote the development of permanent affordable housing.

OCREP (ORANGE COUNTY RE-ENTRY PARTNERSHIP)

Location: Locations vary

Day/Time: OCREP general membership meets second Tuesday of every other month from 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Who Should Attend: Representatives from government, private, nonprofit, and faith based organizations are encouraged to attend.

Goal: OCREP is a community based networking system designed to examine Orange County’s inmate reentry practices and improve the community-based services provided to persons who are released from jail or prison into Orange County Communities.
